Manokamna Tokri | Offering basket

Just like any other temple, there are two shops available outside the temple’s main entrance selling offerings for the god and other relevant holy products such as flags and dupatta(scarf), etc. Both the shops are regulated by the temple body thus providing the exact quantity of materials/ingredients inside the Manokamna Tokri. Manokamna Tokri contains offerings to the god which can also be booked online via Mandir’s Booking portal if incase a devotee is unable to visit the temple. This service is available for anyone and everyone around the world. This online Tokri is offered only on Thursdays in the online bookings as Thursday is considered the day of Dev Guru Brihaspati. Therefore some of the shops open only on Thursdays while the dedicated temple shop is open as per the temple opening times. These shops also accept payment using multiple methods including Google Pay, Paytm, etc.

Bhog Prasad

At Brihaspati Dham Mandir, Besan Laddoos are basically considered as the takeaway prasad. These very Laddoos are made within the temple premises by using the purest desi ghee and the finest ingredients to maintain the quality and the taste and they are available only within the temple premises and not at the shops outside. These Laddoos comes in a pack of 4 or a single Laddoo and are available right next to the Garb Graha (inner area where the Idol of Brihaspati is kept) door on Thursdays. On any other days, they are available upon asking any pujari within the temple.

On some occasions and especially on Thursdays the Bhog(food) offered to Dev Guru is consists of yellow rice, which is also a form of Puja. Since it is said that offering yellow things to Dev Guru Brihaspati helps in attaining his blessings.

Puja (Ritual) Services

Multiple puja services are available at the temple that aims in attaining the blessings of Dev Guru Brihaspati and all of these pujas are performed in front of the idol of Brihaspati Bhagwan. Tens and thousands of devotees have had their wish fulfilled by performing these pujas as been told by the devotees themselves. However, here at Brihaspati Dham temple all the pujari’s (priests) believe that ultimately it is the Dev Guru himself who can fulfill the wishes or shower the blessings, and their duty is to perform the pujas in a proper and clean way. The pujas are also performed by trained and experienced pujari’s appointed by the temple, hence ensuring the quality in each and every area of the temple.
